The introduction of Agenda 2030 has highlighted the unsustainability of the current development model, both environmentally, economically and socially, highlighting the urgency of a shift towards more sustainable production and consumption models.

At Viroplastic, we seized this opportunity, adopting the ISCC PLUS (an acronym for International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) standard as a guide to redefine our production processes to create more sustainable caps, capsules, sticks and jars.

The ISCC PLUS scheme enables us to ensure, through a management system, the traceability and sustainability of our raw materials, intermediate products and finished products throughout the supply chain.

With our ISO 9001 Quality System certification, integrated with ISCC PLUS requirements, we are able to ensure complete traceability of our production process, using raw materials from recycling or circular economy.

Each batch of ISCC PLUS-certified product we produce will be accompanied by the Sustainability Declaration attesting to compliance with the requirements throughout the supply chain.

The ISCC PLUS certified product will also be recognizable by the logos that can be used on the primary packaging.

The ISCC Plus scheme is positioned as a key tool for:
- managing natural resources sustainably
- demonstrating respect for human rights and working conditions
- demonstrating ethical behavior toward stakeholders
- demonstrating efficient use of water resources.
